„Never did I hear my music like this“ said composer Klaus Huber when Egidius Streiff played „Intarsimile“ (2010, his very last work) for the first time in its original microtonal version.

Egidius Streiff is one of those rare performers that make you understand words, jubilate with their songs and move with their inherent dance. „I learnt to speak in college with my drama teacher P. Adalbert Züllig OSB, I learnt to sing on my instrument with the composer György Kurtàg, and it was Hansheinz Schneeberger who taught me to dance around my beloved Pietro Guarneri fiddle. Many other Masters continue teaching me, some became friends and not few of them are even my pupils..“
