Egidius Streiff teaches at the Music School of the Musik Akademie Basel individual lessons, orchestral education (with baroque violinist Daniel Hauptmann) and the improvising ensembles ImproContra and ImproNext (together with percussionist Sylwia Zytynska).
He regularly teaches Masterclasses, usually in connection with concert tours to China (Bejing Central and National Conservatory), Korea (Seoul National University), Brasil (Embap Curitiba).
