Egidius Streiff teaches at the Music School of the Musik Akademie Basel individual lessons, orchestral education (with baroque violinist Daniel Hauptmann) and the improvising ensembles ImproContra and ImproNext (together with percussionist Sylwia Zytynska).
As part of his extensive concert tours, he has given Masterclasses in many Asian Universities (to name but a few: Bejing Central and National Conservatory, Seoul National University, Pyongyang Yun Isang Centre of Studies), Brasil (Embap Curitiba). A recurring joy were his visits to the Ulan Baatar Music and Dance College in the years 2000-2010.
