egidius streiff’s recordings have met critical acclaim ranging from his very first recording of Bartòk’s original solo sonata (enavantrecords 1995, „5 STERNE“ Klassik heute), to his most recent recording of Max Reger’s sonata op.72 for Fugue State, as part of the BBC-award-winning „DVD of the year 2018“ Maximum Reger.

He is especially happy with his first performance and subsequent recording of Isang Yun’s monumental original version violin sonata 1991, published in february 2019 on the label capriccio.
